Noddy will race at Canterbury Park tomorrow over 1550 metres. He has barrier 11 of 13 and will be ridden by Darren Beadman. He will need a lot of luck from the wide gate, but if he is 100% he should go well.
Noddy half-brother Wyangan Pines (by Royal Academy) had his second race start at Warwick Farm yesterday. Travelling midfield, he got cluttered up in the straight which he didn't seem to appreciate. Once he got a clear run, he finished his race off well to place third. The gelding is entered for the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes over 1800 metres, a distance which his full-sister Whispering Academy has won over in South Africa. Best of luck to Noddy's baby brother.
Noddy has not accepted to race at Warwick Farm this Wednesday. He jarred up on the hard Rosehill surface at his last start and currently has a sore hoof. If all is well, a race will be found for him next week.
